Bernard Idstein died on Monday, April 26 at the age of 71. His son, Robert Idstein, is on staff at Willow Creek South Barrington in Trades. His granddaughter, Meghan Idstein, is also on staff at the South Barrington campus in Information Technology. He is survived by his wife, Judy; his sons, Robert (Barbara) Idstein and Brian (Tammy) Idstein; his grandchildren, Matthew, Meghan, Melissa, Nathan and Emily; his brother, Bill Idstein; and his daughter-in-law, Chris Idstein.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State Street, Elgin, IL 60123.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State Street, Elgin, IL 60123.
A luncheon will be held immediately following the ceremony at Rolling Knolls Country Club. Directions will be provided following the funeral service at the funeral home.
