Christmas Store - At Golfview School - Dec. 20th

We need your help on Saturday Dec. 20th for our one day Christmas Store for Sunny Hill and Golfview Elementary families in Carpentersville. This "invitation only" store will allow under-resourced families to purchase new children's gifts at 75% off retail. Buying their own gifts provides dignity to parents who have nothing to give at Christmas time.

In addition to the volunteers needed for setting up and running the store (see below), we need lots of help getting supplies and organizing a few components of the store. If you are interested in helping in the following areas or need more information, please let me know.

Thanks!

Willow Sermon Archive

Jim O'Brien from the Algonquin area has done a great job of summerizing a number of Willow messages on his online journal. He has been attending since 1982 - and is in process of summarizing all of his sermon notes since then. He is organizing them by date and topic.

If you would like to get a quick summary of a message just poke around his blog at:

Foundations Group

As we proceed on our spiritual journey, it is imperative that we have built a strong foundation on which to grow. Beginning Christians need to insure that the the "house" they are intending to build will sit on very solid ground. Growing Christians may have recognized that parts of their foundation need to be strengthened before they add on to their structure. Even Christ-Centered Christians may have discovered cracks in their foundation that need attention. If this describes you, please feel free to join Larry and Sue Kowalski as they dig deeper into "What Christians Believe" and "What Christians Do".

This open-ended 12-week study will be held in a small group format at a date and place to be determined. You can contact Larry and Sue via email at larry.kowalski@att.net or by phone at 847-836-9348.
