Carpentersville Blitz Build - Prayer Team

Would you like to participate in the Blitz Build project this summer but just don’t feel like you have the right skills? Maybe your schedule won’t permit you to commit an entire day. If you have a heart for this project and faith as small as a mustard seed, the Prayer Walk team may be a perfect avenue for you to contribute. The commitment is small but powerful! Last year the team experienced God’s intervention in people’s lives, His provision for project needs at critical moments, and His hand of blessing on the whole project. Don’t underestimate the importance of intercession! Consider these words of King David:

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this:
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice
Of your cause like the noonday sun.” Psalm 37:5-6

If you’re interested in joining me for the daily prayer walk, you need to sign up on the church’s website Blitz Build. If you want to pray for needs from home, please e-mail me at: nsvitacco@comcast.net and I’ll send regular updates of prayer needs.

Nancy Vitacco,
Prayer Walk Leader

Dominican Republic Missions Trip - Consuelo

Last year I took a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and it was amazing to see what God is doing through the local churches in the DR. One of the churches I visited was the IBCC - Igelsia Biblica Christana Consuelo. There I met pastor Leonardo and his leaders and saw the great ministry God has called him too.

I am so excited about this church that I want to go back there this coming November and I want to take you with me! We are looking at Saturday, Nov 8th through Saturday, Nov. 15th.

Click the link above to learn more about IBCC. Already a number people have inquired about going. Trips run about $1000 dollars per person and require a $200 deposit. Click Here to sign up: DR Sign up
