Join Garry Poole as he unpacks a counter intuitive approach to reaching out to those far from God. Discover how developing authentic friendships, asking open-ended questions, and simply listening well can build bridges that lead to life-changing conversations. You will also receive insights into how to create informal, non-threatening discussions within your own neighborhood, workplace or even at the local coffee shop with spiritual seekers who are investigating Christianity.

Sleepy Hollow - A Baby Shower of a Different Kind
A Baby Shower of a Different Kind that will make a BIG impact!
Who: Kathy Barbieri
When: March 1, 2008 Open House from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Where: 2733 Winton Court, West Dundee
What: Here is the “Different Kind” part.
Kathy’s husband is serving his second tour of duty on the front lines in Afghanistan. Except for short periods of leave, he has been away from Kathy and their two boys (ages 2 and 5) for 3 years. She is due to deliver her their 3rd boy on March 17. Her husband Brandon will be home April 12th.
With 2 young boys at home, Kathy says she does not need anything from a clothing or equipment perspective, but could use some meals to get her through the last few weeks until the baby comes and her husband returns.
So this is a “freezer meal baby shower.” Please come for cake and coffee and let’s rally around this neighbor whose husband is serving to keep us free and fill her freezer with “Meals for 3.” Please prepare your favorite meal as a shower gift. Be sure to include cooking instructions and use disposable storage containers.
With questions or to RSVP contact: Mary Jo Gallaway - mj.gallaway@gmail.com
